Author Guidelines
IJRDO – Journal of Applied Science welcomes high-quality and original manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of research across diverse academic disciplines including science, applied sciences, engineering, technology, agriculture, management, and interdisciplinary innovation. The journal provides an international platform for researchers, scholars, and professionals to publish innovative theoretical and applied research.
Authors must ensure that manuscripts submitted to the journal are original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration elsewhere. All submissions should follow recognized academic standards and ethical research practices.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that their work meets the following conditions:
- The research is conducted with scientific integrity
- All sources and references are properly acknowledged
- The manuscript follows the journal’s formatting and structure guidelines
- Necessary permissions are obtained for any copyrighted material
- All authors have approved the final version of the manuscript
Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX format
- Use 12-point Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing
- Include an abstract (150–250 words) and 4–6 keywords
- Structure the manuscript as: Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion
- Maximum manuscript length: 8,000 words
Formatting Requirements
- Title page must include title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author details, and ORCID (if available)
- Manuscripts should be written in clear American English
- Pages should be numbered consecutively
- Use SI units for all measurements
- Tables and figures should be placed appropriately within the text and clearly labelled
Reference Style
Authors must follow APA citation style:
- Include DOI where available
- Arrange references alphabetically by author surname
- Ensure all in-text citations appear in the reference list

Publication Ethics

Evaluation Criteria

Assessment of Manuscript Sections
- Title: Clearly reflects the study
- Abstract: Summarizes objectives, methods, results, and conclusions
- Introduction: Defines research problem and objectives
- Methodology: Explains research design clearly
- Results: Presents findings logically
- Discussion & Conclusion: Interprets results and highlights significance
- Tables & Figures: Clearly labelled and relevant
Language and Clarity
Manuscripts must be written in clear and professional English. Authors are responsible for ensuring grammatical accuracy and readability before submission.
Reviewer Reports
Reviewers are expected to provide:
- A brief summary of the manuscript
- Major issues requiring revision
- Minor comments and suggestions
- Evaluation of originality and relevance
- Assessment of methodology and results
Editorial Decisions
Based on reviewer reports, the editorial team may decide:
- Accept
- Minor Revisions
- Major Revisions
- Reject
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
Ethical Standards and Conduct
- Confidentiality: Manuscripts must be treated as confidential
- Objectivity: Reviews must be unbiased and based on academic merit
- Acknowledgment of Sources: Missing references should be identified
- Integrity: Unpublished material must not be used for personal benefit
