Plagiarism and AI Policy
IJRDO – Journal of Applied Science is committed to maintaining the integrity, originality, and transparency of scholarly publications. All submitted manuscripts must comply with ethical standards recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics.
All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection tools such as Turnitin and iThenticate.
Plagiarism Limit
The journal allows a maximum similarity index of 15%. Manuscripts exceeding this limit, or containing copied content, improper citation, or duplication, will be rejected.
AI Usage Policy
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools is permitted only for language improvement and editing purposes. Authors must ensure that:
- AI-generated content is properly reviewed and verified
- The originality and accuracy of the manuscript are maintained
- AI tools are not used to generate misleading, fabricated, or plagiarized research
The acceptable AI-generated content in a manuscript should be less than 5%.
Authors remain fully responsible for the content of their submission.
Misconduct Handling
If plagiarism or unethical AI usage is detected—either before or after publication—the journal will take appropriate action following COPE guidelines. This may include:
- Rejection of the manuscript
- Publication of corrections
- Retraction of the article in serious cases
